AC Milan just announced they’ve signed Italian midfielder Samuele Ricci from Torino! Ricci has a contract with Milan until June 2029, and there’s even an option for one more year after that. The club didn’t share how much they paid, but the Italian media says the transfer cost was about 23 million euros (that’s around $27 million).
Ricci started out at Empoli’s youth academy and moved to Torino in 2022. Since then, he’s played 113 games for Torino and has also made 10 appearances for Italy’s national team since 2022.
Ricci is expected to strengthen Milan’s midfield, especially now that Tijjani Reijnders has left to join Manchester City.
