Chelsea is about to get a new player! The team has agreed to pay £60 million (which is about $82 million) to sign Joao Pedro from Brighton & Hove Albion, according to British news sources.

Joao Pedro is a 23-year-old soccer player from Brazil. He joined Brighton in 2023 after playing for Watford. In his two years at Brighton, he scored 30 goals and made 10 assists in 70 games.
Pedro is expected to sign a seven-year contract with Chelsea. If everything goes well, he could play his first game for Chelsea this Friday in the Club World Cup quarter-final against Palmeiras in Philadelphia.
