Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United continues to hang in the balance as transfer talks intensify this July 2025. The 25-year-old winger, who has struggled to cement a regular place at Old Trafford, is edging closer to an exit, with Juventus emerging as the clear frontrunners for his signature.
Multiple reports confirm that negotiations between Juventus, Manchester United, and Sancho’s representatives are progressing well. The proposed transfer fee is believed to be around €25 million, a figure United appear willing to accept as they look to reshape their squad under new manager Ruben Amorim. However, a major obstacle in the deal remains Sancho’s substantial wages — reportedly £250,000 per week — which Juventus are hesitant to take on in full.
While there have been suggestions of a potential swap deal involving Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, current indications suggest a straight cash agreement is more likely. Juventus view Sancho as a valuable addition to bolster their wide attacking options as they aim to reclaim the Serie A title and make an impact in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Sancho, whose contract at Manchester United runs until 2026 with an option for an extra year, has also attracted attention from other clubs. Napoli have made enquiries, and a club from the Saudi Pro League has reportedly expressed interest, though Sancho’s preference appears to be remaining in Europe. Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, previously linked with a move, have cooled their interest in recent weeks.
For United, offloading Sancho would not only reduce their wage bill but also help fund incoming transfers as Amorim looks to put his stamp on the squad. Having fallen out of favour since the 2023-24 season, Sancho’s time in Manchester looks set to come to an end — with Turin likely to be his next destination.
