As a result, the newly promoted team was on the lookout for a new head coach, and they chose a local strategist – Alberto Gilardino.

The 42-year-old coach has signed a contract with his new employers until the summer of 2027, with an option for an additional season. The date for his official presentation to the media will be announced in the coming days.

Throughout his coaching career, Gilardino has led teams like Rezzato, Pro Vercelli, Siena, and Genoa.

Spanish expert – Carlos Cuesta Garcia has been appointed as the new head of the coaching staff for the Italian top-flight team – Parma.

He is an exceptionally young strategist at just 29 years old, and in the past five seasons, he served as an assistant at the English club, Arsenal.

He signed a contract with the popular “Milkmen” until the summer of 2027, with an option to continue the collaboration. This means he has replaced – Cristian Kivu, who recently left the team to take over Inter.

Parma finished the 2024/2025 season in 16th place in the Serie A table, with a five-point cushion above the relegation zone.

The Italian top-flight team – Lecce has appointed its new head coach in the form of local strategist – Eusebio Di Francesco.

The 55-year-old coach has signed a contract with his new employers until the end of June 2026, with an automatic extension for an additional season if the team secures its place in the elite level of Italian football. He has returned to the bench of the team where he previously coached in the 2011/2012 season.

Lecce finished the 2024/2025 season in 17th place in Serie A, narrowly avoiding relegation, as they managed to earn seven points in the last three matches.

Di Francesco has led teams like Virtus Lanciano, Pescara, and Lecce during his coaching career.
