Atletico Madrid just signed Italian forward Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli on a five-year deal. Italian reports say the fee is about 26 million euros (around $30 million).
Raspadori began his career at Sassuolo. He moved to Napoli on loan in 2022 and won the Serie A title in his first season there. After that, the move became permanent.
He’s 25 years old and made 88 league appearances for Napoli, scoring 13 goals. Most of the time he came on as a sub, but he still made an impact.
Raspadori also plays for Italy. He was part of the team that won Euro 2020 and has scored 9 goals in 40 international games.
Atletico fans will be excited to see what he can do in LaLiga over the next few years.
