The experienced player from Bayern Munich is looking to show what he can do as his team travels to the United States to chase more trophies to finish their season on a high note.
Bayern and Muller just had a great domestic season, winning the Bundesliga title in Vincent Kompany’s first year as coach.
Now, they are off to the States, hoping to end their season with a bang. For Muller, the Club World Cup is a thrilling event, especially with the World Cup coming up in 2026.
Muller shared: “Firstly, the fact that this is a global tournament is appealing, and in this format, it feels a bit more like the World Cup. In comparison, we had the previous version of the Club World Cup, which was just a handful of previous teams.
“We need to get a feel for the tournament first, but the fact that it’s taking place in a country where the World Cup is happening the following year is obviously very exciting for us.
