Jhon Duran Joins Fenerbahce on Loan After Quick Stay at Al Nassr

Jhon Duran is heading to Fenerbahce on loan, just a few months after making a big-money move to Al Nassr from Aston Villa. Fenerbahce announced on their website that the 21-year-old striker is joining them from the Saudi club.

Jarell Quansah

The Turkish club said they hope Duran has “a season full of success” wearing their famous yellow-and-navy jerseys.

Duran isn’t the only player to leave Saudi Arabia after a short time. Remember Jordan Henderson? He left Saudi Arabia and now plays for Ajax!

While playing for Al Nassr, Duran scored 12 goals in 18 games and reached 50 career goals—a pretty cool milestone.

Now, the Colombian forward will meet his new teammates at Fenerbahce. If things go well, he might even get another shot at playing in the Champions League, where he already did a great job with Aston Villa.
