Matchweek 8 of the 2025/26 LaLiga season, played between October 3rd and October 5th, arrives with plenty of storylines as the table starts to take shape heading into October.
The action begins on Friday night, when Osasuna host Getafe in Pamplona, a matchup that could be decisive for both teams in the mid-table fight.
On Saturday, Real Oviedo face Levante in the early afternoon, followed by Girona at home against Valencia in a clash of two sides fighting for European places. Later, Athletic Bilbao welcome Mallorca to San Mamés before the evening’s headline game sees Real Madrid host Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Sunday kicks off with Alavés against Elche, while Sevilla take on Barcelona in one of the weekend’s biggest fixtures.
