Matchweek 7 of the 2025/26 Premier League season brings another weekend full of key battles and storylines at both ends of the table.
The action begins on Friday night, when Bournemouth host Fulham in a matchup of two sides aiming to secure some breathing space in the lower half of the standings.
On Saturday, Leeds face Tottenham in the early kick-off at Elland Road, where Spurs will be pushing to keep their strong start while Leeds hope for an upset at home. At 16:00, two matches take place as Arsenal host West Ham in a London derby and Manchester United welcome Sunderland to Old Trafford. The day ends with a blockbuster evening clash at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea take on Liverpool, a game with major implications for the top four race.
Sunday features a busy afternoon with four games at the same time: Aston Villa vs Burnley, Everton vs Crystal Palace, Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest, and Wolves vs Brighton. Later, Brentford will meet reigning champions Manchester City in the headline match of the day, with City looking to continue their title defense while Brentford hope to shock their visitors.

They have a strong offense with 12 goals scored, and they also boast one of the best defensive lines in the league, having only conceded 3 goals. Mikel Arteta must be pleased with the team’s performance.
In the last round, they defeated Newcastle away, with Gabriel scoring the winning goal in the 96th minute of the match. Gyоkeres is the most effective in attack with 3 goals, and the team rarely loses control in the midfield, which is managed by Zubimendi. Chelsea vs Liverpool

Aston Villa, under the management of Unai Emery, ended their winless streak with a solid 3–1 victory over Fulham last round. They are currently in 16th place with 6 points, and after playing 6 matches, they have one win, 3 draws, and 2 losses. They have scored 4 goals and conceded 6, but last round they showed that the team has potential. In attack, they have Ollie Watkins, who has scored one goal so far, and the midfield with Buendia and McGinn looks creative.
In the group stage of the Europa League, they defeated Bologna at home in the first round, and on Thursday, they visited Feyenoord and achieved another victory with a score of 0:2.
Burnley is not doing very well in the top English league and is currently in 18th place with only 4 points earned so far. Ismaila Sarr has been fantastic in attack with 3 goals, while Mateta has scored 2 goals. Palace knows how to control the pace and wait for the right moment. On Thursday, they played their first match in the group stage of the conference league, visiting Dyn. Kyiv, where they achieved a victory of 0:2.
Everton will try to get 3 points at home, both teams have strong defenses, so we expect a match where there won’t be more than two goals.

Newcastle vs Nottingham
Newcastle, led by Eddie Howe, is currently in 15th place with 6 points. After playing 6 matches, they have only managed to win once, with 3 draws and 2 losses. They score goals but also concede them, having scored 9 and allowed the same number. Fabian Hurzeler’s team triumphed last round with a 3-1 victory away against Chelsea. Considering the current form of both teams, we expect a dynamic and efficient match with at least 3 goals.
